ONLINE SEMINAR – A fair exchange: why living kidney donors in England should be financially compensated – RECORDING
This is a recording of the online seminar that took place on 24th April 2024 featuring Bonnie Venter and Daniel Rodger
In this seminar, we outline the scale of the kidney shortage problem and highlight the insufficiency of the current approaches to address this growing deficit. We then outline our case in support of financially compensating kidney donors in England. We argue that a monopsony system approach could increase the number of available kidneys and would reflect a fairer approach to the burdens and risks a living donor accepts.
This seminar, A fair exchange: why living kidney donors in England should be financially compensated featured two speakers.
