IME Student Conference – Frontiers in Medical Ethics: Navigating the Future of Healthcare

The 2025 Student Conference will take place on 8th February in London.

IOE, University College London, WC1H 0AL

The day is aimed at all students and foundation doctors with an interest in medical ethics.  This year our conference is focused on Frontiers in Medical Ethics.

We will also be showcasing your work in medical ethics through oral and poster presentations.

A £10 deposit is required to book your place at the conference, however the deposit will be returned on attendance, making this a FREE conference!

You may be eligible for an IME Conference Grant to cover your travel costs.

Location

The conference will be held at IOE, 20 Bedford Way, London WC1H 0AL. Russell Square tube station is a 5-minute walk away. And Euston railway station is a 10-minute walk. Get more travel advice.

Catering

In order to minimse the carbon footprint of the IME’s activity, food at all of our events is vegetarian only.

Accessibility

All halls and rooms at 20 Bedford Way are accessible and a managed evacuation process is available from areas on levels 1 and 3 of the building for persons with mobility impairment. There is a blue badge parking bay for 3 cars outside 20 Bedford Way. Detailed accessibility information can be found here.
