IME Annual Conference 2022 ‘Being Heard’

Medical ethics deals with the moral limitations on power in healthcare. The subject can easily become the preserve of powerful clinicians, policy makers and academics. The IME 2022 conference, “Being heard” is an attempt to listen to the challenges of some of those who have no share in this power, moving beyond an intellectual commitment to hearing those voices to a willingness to be shaped by them.

Abstracts need not pursue this theme and are invited on any medical ethics and law, clinical ethics, and bioethics topic for the IME Annual Conference which will be held on 30th June and 1st July 2022 at Austin Court, Birmingham, UK.

Abstracts (up to 300 words in length) can be submitted for an oral presentation or for a poster presentation.

The abstracts will be reviewed by the IME Conference Committee at the end of February and all submitters will be informed of their decisions in March.

Submit your abstract at before 11.59pm on 13th February 2022
