Your Chance for Change: Shaping the UK’s Fertility and Embryo Law

The UK’s fertility regulator – the HFEA – has launched a consultation on proposed changes to the law governing fertility treatment and embryo research. Following its consultation, the HFEA will submit recommendations for law reform to the UK Government.
Speakers and attendees will exchange ideas about how to reform the law in this area, and how best to respond to the HFEA’s consultation.
The speaker panel will include experts and practitioners in fertility treatment, embryo research and related law. They will explore areas including the four themes around which the HFEA consultation is structured:
• Patient safety and promoting good practice
• Access to donor information
• Consent
• Scientific developments
