IME Postgraduate Residential Writing Workshop 22-23 November 2023

We welcome applications for the residential writing workshop from postgraduate students at all levels and stages, working in bioethics (broadly understood). The in-person writing event will provide an inclusive and creative space for a range of experience and confidence levels, with the aim to facilitate individual and group engagement with all aspects of writing.
Successful applicants will be funded for one night accommodation and two days writing retreat including peer-led activities and a group session with a writing coach. Lunch, coffee breaks, dinner and breakfast are included and we will stay in a self-contained building: The Stables at YHA Chester.
Further accommodation and workshop details will provided and we aim to notify successful applicants by Friday 18 August 2023

Your answers will be reviewed for relevance and engagement with the workshop’s aims and used to help guide workshop activities. If we have more applicants than spaces, we may use them to prioritise applicants. Please note that your answers will not be assessed as academic work.

Travel bursaries of up to £50 per person will be available to successful applicants upon request.
Separate funding for care or other access needs is available on application.
We do not means test but ask that those with access to funding supplement costs to enable us to fund as many people as possible.
